Description
Workplace Stress: An Epidemic
The signs are everywhere. We don’t even have to ask. Everyone is “stressed out,” working at the edge of their capacity, trying to make financial ends meet and hold their families together. Sleeplessness, stomachaches, headaches, anger and depression are just some of the symptoms of stress.
We hope this workbook will enable workers to effectively address the problem of job stress. Through participatory activities about our experiences with stress, the definition of stress, the extent of the problem, the cause of job stress and strategies for stopping stress, workers can come up with effective methods for stopping stress in its tracks.
